Soy milk adverse effects
I have heard from friends that drinking too much soy milk (or consuming too much soy period) can have adverse effects, like that soy turns into estrogen once digested in your body???

Does anyone know more about this?

Thanks!

Dear Sarah, I’ve heard a number of views on soy, particularly about the linkage between soy foods, infertility, and birth defects.
I've read that that phytoestrogens can impair fertility.
Humans and animals appear to be the most vulnerable to the effects of soy estrogens prenatally, during infancy and puberty, during pregnancy and lactation, and during the hormonal shifts of menopause. Of all these groups, infants on soy formula are at the highest risk because of their small size and developmental phase, and because formula is their main source of nutrient.
