Feeding aversions??
Our 4 month old was daignosed about a month ago with a milk/soy protein allergy. We now have him on Neocate but he seems to have devloped an averson to eating in general. We are wondering if is because of all of the pain from eating before. Some days it is so difficult to feed him and he just seems to be angry about it. It really effects his intake some days. Anyone have any experience with this? We are meeting with an occupational therapist this week to see how to make eating a positive experience for everyone.

Hi Nicole,
I just joined this forum and read your post from awhile ago. Did you get and OT to help you??
My Daughter had many feeding issues, she would take maybe 15 oz of a soy formula a day and that was a fight. She only weighed 11lbs at a year old. I had to fight tooth and nail to get her seen by a GI and finally got her on Neocate Jr. She has gained weight but because she was so little, the docs put in a feeding tube. Thats was 3 years ago and till this day my daughter takes no food by mouth.
I hope you got the support you needed..
