Neocate and Sleep Patterns
Both of my children have had mulitple food allergies so I'm on my second child using Neocate. Kylie is now 5 months and is still waking to eat 2-3 times a night, my oldest also woke to eat more than expected for the first 15 months, which is as long as he used Neocate. Is this typical of a child on Neocate? I thought it may be since the formula is so elemental.
Thanks,
Denise

sleep patterns
do your kids eat full meals? my 13 month old daughter still wakes up to eat 2-3 times a night, i haven't tried neocate, she is on rice milk. i thought it might be because she isn't getting enough fat to be full for long periods of time. she won't eat a large meal, she eats/snacks at least 5 times a day, and she is sooo picky about what she eats too. my doc is not much help on this subject.

Sleeping
Hello,
So glad I came across this post!
My 17 month old son has always been so restless and from day one has never slept through [:(]
I was hoping by him being stuck onto Neocate it may regulate his sleep patterns, but from readin the posts im startin to think twice haha.

Had to post
My daughter is now 8 weeks old and has been on Neocate for a little over a week. What a blessing this formula has been! Before I would feed her and she would never seem satisfied. She was on 6 differant formulas yes...6! We tried everything from every Enfimil brand to a few Similac products. There was always an issue from spitting up and I mean through her nose and everything to constapation and protein allergy outbreaks. Once on Neocate she is not thriving to eat so often and is now sleeping MUCH better. I can even put her in the swing without her crying afterwards. The last 2 nights she has slept from 10pm-7 am. I will add that for gassiness I give her gripe water once in the middle of the day and right before her last bottle at night and out she goes!!! Also her reflux seems to have gone away...She sits by her self and smiles...I highly recommend this formula..CAN YOU TELL:)
